Dell Launches Two New Notebooks

Late yesterday Dell announced two new notebooks, one workstation and one Ultra-Mobile, both of which comply to the EPA’s Energy Star 4.0 standard. The ultra-mobile is the Latitude D430 which starts at a mere three pounds and uses a 12 inch screen.
The D430 is powered by available Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs and can be optioned with SSD rather than traditional HDD for storage. Wireless 802.11n is integrated into the system and the chassis is magnesium alloy.
The Dell Precision M4300 workstation notebook can be optioned with up to 4GB of RAM, integrates 802.11n WiFi and mobile broadband capabilities along with Dell TrueLife display technology for more contrast for better graphics and video.
