In November, Overture opened its German headquarters in Munich and appointed Manfred Klaus as German managing director. Klaus will have responsibility for building Overture's German marketplace in Europe's German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria and German-Switzerland), building the company's German-language advertiser base and cultivating distribution partnerships.
Klaus joined Overture from FOCUS Digital AG, one of Germany's leading Internet media companies, where he led Marketing and Sales as a member of the company's Executive Board.
