Google introduces Group Publishing to Chrome Web Store

NEW DELHI: Google's latest introduction to the app store of Chrome browser is the Group Publishing feature, which makes it easier give access of a single account to multiple people. Till now, only one email address with the publisher's account was allowed, making it tough to give access to more than one person to manage the inventory.

With this new feature, organizations can create a Chrome Web Store account and assign itself as the owner while also adding or removing people from the group as per requirement. One can also add an existing group as the Group Publisher or create a new one through a link on the developer dashboard page.

This is among the more significant introductions to the Chrome Web Store, which is home to several apps, extensions, and themes for the browser.

Earlier this year, the Chrome Web Store got a new UI search feature through which any user searching for something on the Chrome Store would be able to see all the top search results across apps, extensions and themes, all in one page. Additionally, users can now limit their searches to a single category by picking one of the selector options at the top or by clicking on the category heading at the top of each search result setting.
